Michelle is Tasmanian born and now resides in the UK, just north of London, with her wife. She's a fair weather golfer, a happy snapper, and a lover of cafes, vinyl records, and book shops. Michelle harbours an unnatural love for stray pieces of timber (she promises her wife she'll build her something one day), second hand furniture shops, and the perfect coffee. She can play six chords on her guitar, stumble through a song on her drum kit, and if you see her wearing headphones, she's probably listening to Mumford and Sons while dreaming up stories and plot twists. It goes without saying that writing is Michelle's favourite thing to do. Her novel The Fifth Gospel was a 201 Golden Crown Literary Award winner.

What Authors Are Saying
Diva Magazine have always been wonderfully supportive of the arts and up-and-coming talent. The introduction of a national two day festival is a chance for authors like myself to say thank you in return."
I'm so excited to hear that Diva is launching a literary festival and would love to participate! There has been a boom in lesbian fiction over the last few years and it's wonderful to see it given a high profile event by the magazine that every single lesbian knows!"
